AMERICAN LIVER FOUNDATION SERVICE AWARD
As presented by Peggy A. St. Croix, Roche
Pharmaceuticals
September 2004
"It is a great
honor to present this award to the Good Samaritan Health Clinic this
evening.
In 1990, a
dedicated group of individuals recognized an unfulfilled need for
healthcare services to the medically needy members within the Pasco
County Community. Since that time the Good Samaritan Health
Clinic in New Port Richey has grown to be a unified and vibrant
organization providing top-quality medical and dental care.
The Good Samaritan Health Clinic Staff and their volunteers have
continually provided free services to Pasco County. Not only
do they give their time and great medical services, but also they
freely give their love to the working poor regardless of their
needs. Specifically, those individuals are Barbara Holton,
Director and Leona Peterson, Assistant Director.
It is profoundly
inspiring that the American Liver Foundation award is awarded to the
Good Samaritan Health Clinic.
This Special Award
is a National American Liver Foundation's award that acknowledges
those who have contributed significantly towards fulfillment of the
American Liver Foundation's mission in many unique ways. It
allows the American Liver Foundation to show its appreciation to
those in the community at large that have had a vision and then went
above and beyond the call of duty.
Since the Good
Samaritan of New Port Richey could not be present at our National
meeting in May 2004, we are proud to present this award to the Good
Samaritan Health Clinic in New Port Richey for all their
contributions to the community they have faithfully served."
