ABOUT US
The Good Samaritan Health Clinic of
Pasco, Inc., at 5334 Aspen St., New Port Richey has been providing
medical and dental care to low-income residents of Pasco County for
fifteen years. Our patients, an average of 3500 per year, are those residents who do
not have health insurance, do not qualify for Medicare or Medicaid
and do not have the financial means to pay for medical or dental
care.
The Clinic Staff, with the exception of its Executive Director,
Assistant Director
and 3
part-time Coordinators, is an all-volunteer staff. Volunteers
include the physicians and dentists of Pasco and Pinellas Counties.
Other volunteers include physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists,
clerical personnel, promoters and fundraisers. Referrals for
specialized treatment and testing are made through the generosity of
institutional partnerships with hospitals, diagnostic clinics and
laboratories in the Pasco area. We are always short-staffed,
so if you have a desire to serve, please do not hesitate to call us!
In 2004, The Good Samaritan Health Clinic received a prestigious
Special Award from the America Liver Foundation for our care and
concern for liver patients in the state of Florida.
